The Bird Brawl: Old Continentals Rule the Roost
In a tournament where 2 of the top four teams had birds on their logos, and the other 2 are related to birds, it was always going to end in feathers, blood, and screaming.
Old Continentals crowed the loudest, OWLS got their wings clipped, Einherjar’s raven flew headfirst into a window, and Turkish Mauser 8MM got deep-fried faster than a kebab at 3am.
OC vs OWLS: A Feather-Plucking Beatdown
Both teams walked into the final week unbeaten, each having already smacked Einherjar and Turkish Mauser 8MM around like a drunken dad at a BBQ.
Now it was time to see who would rule the skies.
The first round? Tight.
OWLS had the early edge, grabbing mid-cap and setting up shop at Factory. But then… disaster.
Alexi Blade’s French squad decided they didn’t feel like losing to a bunch of night pigeons, and his outnumbered OC squad counter-attacked. Like a gift from the gods (or a nightmare for OWLS), Auzzy decided he’d had enough.
Auzzy, double-drum mag in hand, pissed off and absolutely unloading on anything that hooted, stormed through OWLS’ defenses. He cleared five OWLS’ players in a rampage, like an unhinged Terminator.
That clutch play turned the momentum completely — and frankly, OWLS never fully recovered. Perhaps if the map was night time, they would have done better!
Round 2: Total Annihilation
Round two wasn’t close.
It was a straight-up massacre.
OC steamrolled across the map, putting OWLS in a bodybag so big it needed a planning permit.
From mortars raining like biblical plagues to infantry aggression that would make a riot squad blush, OC secured first place with a statement.
Viewer-voted Squad Esports Player of the Match? Auzzy, because when you turn into a one-man SWAT team on stream, you earn it.
(Props to Elerest, though who came in 2nd — those mortars were raining down like God’s smiting nonbelievers.)
Turkish Mauser 8MM: Weapon Malfunction
Named after a rifle from the 1890s, Turkish Mauser 8MM showed up ready to fight… like it was still 1890. They may have well been on horseback! They got absolutely rinsed by both OC and ENR, firing more blanks than a Love Island reunion special.
Instead of taking home the win, Turkish Mauser 8MM got plucked, stuffed, roasted, and served like Christmas or Thanksgiving dinner.
It was ugly.
It was hilarious.
At one point, you could almost hear the theme tune from a wildlife documentary:
“And here we observe the Turkish Mauser 8MM in its natural habitat — prey amongst predators, getting absolutely fucking mauled.”
ENR clearly had woken up and walked away with a one-sided win and third place, while Mauser got sent back to the kitchen.
Final Standings
🥇 1st Place: Old Continentals
🥈 2nd Place: O.W.L.S
🥉 3rd Place: Einherjar
4️⃣ 4th Place: Turkish Mauser 8MM (delicious when roasted)
Final Thoughts:
The showdown lived up to the hype.
Birds fought. Birds died. A Turkish rifle jammed spectacularly.
And in the end, Old Continentals proved that sometimes the early bird doesn’t just get the worm — it curb-stomps the whole damn forest.
Now we wait for the next tournament… where hopefully someone checks ENR’s alarm clock settings to go off before the tournament starts, not during.

It is surprising that such people represent such a professional game team, everyone works hard and for days for matches, the win or lose doesnt matter people you despise are from our community
Rycave
Its called a friendly roasting, which only the top teams will recieve. O.W.L.S got roasted in the same article. ENR got an entire article roasting them. Stop being so precious

off course im sure the person who wrote this just wrote it as a friend for fun. Not everyone has to listen to your sarcastic speech. Did you ask the guys when you wrote this? I don’t act precious, quite the opposite. Just imagine what the fans would do if something like this was written to one of the big e-sports teams. I understood the joke, I actually liked it in a way, but not everyone dismisses sarcasm as funny, there are many people who take it seriously, especially nationalist countries and teams.

Thanks for all the work you’ve done. But please take what I said into consideration next time.
