This isn’t just a cheating scandal, this is a “we need a Netflix docuseries and a courtroom drama” kind of scandal.
After weeks of digging, decoding, and denial, we can now confirm:
Cheating was hardcoded into the actual Squad tournament mod.
Not just some guy toggling hacks, we’re talking god-mode, dev-level, mod-layered tomfoolery that may have spanned years of competitive Squad.
Let’s break it down.
What Is the Squad Comp Mod?
The Squad Comp Mod is the foundation of competitive play in Squad. Maps, spawn logic, tournament rules, all built and maintained by Hash and Tolgadeg.
Turns out, they weren’t just balancing flags…
They were secretly writing in cheat codes like it was 1998 and they just unlocked big head mode in GoldenEye.
How It All Started – The Juice Trail
- ENR spotted the first breadcrumbs, a weird discrepancy in ticket losses that didn’t add up.
- Squad Esports Tournament staff found clear signs something shady was going on.
- Old Continentals then got their hands on the mod itself… and opened Pandora’s USB stick.
What they found?
An entire cheat menu surgically baked into the tournament infrastructure. This wasn’t a bug. It wasn’t an exploit. This was a purpose-built suite of admin-only hacks disguised as game code.
The Cheat Sheet – What Was Hidden?
A small sample of the superpowers specific players had access to:
- Increased limb damage – toe shots turning into kill shots
- Instant resupply – ammo bags and rallies? That’s for peasants
- Mesh view (wallhacks) – see through everything. Like a caster… or Superman on cocaine
- Full scoreboard visibility – both teams’ ticket counts at all times
- Manual ticket bleed – press a button and your enemy starts losing one ticket every 30 seconds
All these were triggered by secret keybinds — literal cheat combos, like unlocking fatalities in Mortal Kombat.
These weren’t “oops-we-left-it-in” bugs — this was a full buffet of hacks.
Picture a cheat menu so good, even Skyrim modders would blush.

The Cheat Codes – Actual Keybinds Found
Here’s what we’ve confirmed so far:
- ALT + L — Start enemy ticket drain
- ALT + K — Stop enemy ticket drain
- ALT + Plus — Instant ammo refill (rally or ammo bag)
- ALT + Minus — Show both teams’ tickets in the GUI
- SHIFT + P — Toggle admin cam (including for certain hardcoded users)
- ALT + Numpad 8 or 7 — Enable player glow (wallhack visual)
- ALT + Numpad 9 — Disable player glow
- ALT + Numpad 4 — Enable bone damage modifiers
- ALT + Numpad 3 — Disable bone damage modifiers
- ALT + Numpad 0 — Toggle killfeed UI
- ALT + Numpad * — Lock framerate to 240
- ALT + Numpad / — Randomly lower framerate to 30–44
- ALT + Numpad 1 or 2 — Registered keybinds, player iterator, unclear effects
Yes, some of these weren’t just to gain an advantage… they were to sabotage teams that got the upper hand. Cheating and griefing baked in.
Imagine pressing ALT + L and watching your opponent’s tickets quietly bleed away like your will to queue as Squad Leader.
Or refilling your ammo mid-fight without a rally — basically like reaching into your backpack and finding a fully loaded SAW wrapped in bubble wrap.
🧍♂️ Who Had Access?
Hardcoded users with access to these hidden cheats:
- Tolgadeg35
- Hash
- Healmeister
- Ogii
- SarfSSD
- Farzani
Additionally, the Squad Arena Mod, used in official contexts, included:
- Inception (Leader of Grand Masters)
They conveniently had a reason why they “couldn’t record VODs” due to poor PC hardware. Across every match. For years?
Every one of them claimed their PC couldn’t record VODs. What are the odds that cheaters all own a toaster from 2008? If your PC can run Squad and a wallhack, it can probably run OBS, champ.
How Long Has This Been Going On?
Evidence suggests the cheating stretches back to any tournament using the Squad Comp or Squad Arena mod created by Hash and Tolgadeg.
This includes:
- Potentially multiple years of competitive Squad
- Multiple tournament formats
- Dozens of matches and hundreds of hours of compromised play
Tournament Fallout
- Old Continentals have withdrawn from the tournament. Leadership and all other players were unaware and ultimately provided the evidence from the mod that confirmed everything.
- Einherjar are officially crowned Season 1 Champions of Squad Esports.

Final Thoughts
We know this is devastating. People gave years of their lives to this scene.
But remember:
- Every team that played fair is a victim
- Old Continentals are also the victim, they lost everything because of a small group acting in secret
- They chose to blow the whistle, not bury it
This isn’t the end of Squad esports. It’s the end of the corruption within it.

ENR’s Research
We performed two independent analyses. Both concluded the same: there were a significant amount of unexplained ticket losses which only affected EnR in the finals match, and has not affected any other matches or scrims we can find. We believe that the inexplicably low ticket counts impacted the match outcome because it changes how players behave.
The first was performed by inspecting the twitch stream and manually logging events and ticket levels, as well as inspecting scoreboards and doing some basic accounting. This analysis concluded that unexplained ticket loss began in the middle of round 1 and just after rollout in round 2. The second analysis was performed by gathering log data, writing a tool which parses the logs and accounts for all tickets, validating that tool, documenting the tool, … and finally analyzing and summarizing results.
