Einherjar Crowned Squad Esports Champions
In a twist that even M. Night Shyamalan would call “a bit much,” Einherjar have officially been crowned champions of the inaugural Squad Esports Tournament, following the disqualification of Old Continentals (OC) due to a cheating scandal that has shaken the comp scene harder than a logi on full throttle across a minefield.
After days of investigation, tears, rage, and more screenshots than a Tinder date gone wrong, it was confirmed that six OC players were hard-coded into the Squad Comp Mod with access to cheat functions ranging from ammo hacks to a manual ticket bleed button. We’re not saying it was unfair, but imagine playing chess while your opponent is blindfolded in a hurricane.
The New Kings of Competitive Squad
We will never know if Einherjar would have been able to keep the mid caps without their debuff, but at this stage they do not need to. With OC withdrawing from the tournament in the fallout of the scandal, Einherjar take the top spot and the title of Squad Esports Tournament Champions.

That’s right. In the infamous OC vs ENR match write-up, we joked that Einherjar set their alarm clock to PM. Now, it seems that Hash made sure that alarm was never going to ring in the first place.
OC’s Legacy: Fall From Glory and the Awaited Return.
We want to be crystal clear here: almost everyone in OC were unaware of what was going on and without them we would still be wondering who and how. But unfortunately, six members of their team were named in the cheat access logs, which made continuing in the tournament impossible.
A sad end for one of the tournament’s strongest-performing teams. And also a reminder that when the game is rigged, nobody really wins, they just cheat longer.
🧠 Big Brains, Bigger Consequences
The sheer scale of the cheat system deserves its own Netflix documentary. Custom keybinds, glow modes, bone-specific damage buffs… it wasn’t just dirty, it was custom-coded filth.
We’re talking cheat features that required literal hotkeys.
